My Precious Bennie
As many of you know, my grandmother (Bennie) has been fighting cancer for some time now. She lost her fight early this morning. I want to thank you all for all the prayers and support you have given me and my family, it means so much. Bennie was such a precious soul and I cannot imagine life without her. My grandparents were married for 67 years, so please keep my Papa in your prayers as he continues this journey without her.

I have been so busy lately with so many things and the blog has been put on the back burner, as of tonight I am back to blogging. I spent some of my time away helping out with the storm cleanup after Hurricane Gustav came through Louisiana, it was quite an experience. If you have emailed me and I have not responded, please drop me another note, I was without email for awhile and lost track!
This was taken on Bourbon Street in New Orleans 2 days after Gustav had Hit.
These were taken in Houma, Louisiana, where the eye of the hurricane came through.
